It’s been a while. Mainly just busy with a lot of things again. I need to get back to a regular blogging schedule of some sort. Even if it’s just a quick update, or something random.
Nothing major to note, except for my classical Khmer ballet dance performance at the Seattle Center for their annual Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration. The main performance of the event was Tatum Jones, whose members were originally from At Last (finalists on America’s Got Talent). Later on in the event, I was able to get a photo with them and an autographed CD.
My dad was in the hospital for a week for some abdomen pains, which sucked. So we all spent Mother’s day in the hospital since my mom stayed by my dad’s bedside the whole time. He’s home now and recovering.
Spent the night with some friends, and celebrated Sun and B’s birthday with wine and cake. And late night chats till 3 in the morning.
Picked up My Dishonest Heart from Audrey’s site, and Carry On from Space Yui Gallery in Tokyo where she was having her latest show. Hope they both get here soon.
We’ve been having some really nice 70°+ weather. Love it.
Oh, and my braces finally came off on Saturday.
< Tears of joy.
My birthday’s just around the corner.. bleh..

Spring always feels like a busy time of year for me. Lots more things to do and events going on. It makes me nostalgic at times. The weather, the people, the places, the memories. It’s like the sun finally wakes me up to reflect on the years that have passed. But it also reminds me that I have more good things to come for the rest of the new year.
New Massive Monkees behind the scene photos of their photoshoot in the updated Photo Gallery. You must be logged in to view.

HAPPY KHMER NEW YEAR!! The celebration and parties have already started. I’ll be at the temple over the weekend and have been asked to perform a traditional Khmer ballet. Hope the weather will be nice in case I have to perform outdoors.
There’s been so many things that I’ve been busy with or busy doing. My Audrey wood print came, and it’s massive. Still need to hang it. Some sewing projects are underway. I made an RPS seat cushion to sit on while I watch the RPS bball games. Half-way through a bball jersey with the RPS logo. I saw Monsters vs. Aliens. Funny and cute. Celebrated B’s Bday with dinner at Tokyo Restaurant. Got my braces re-tightened after two weeks because it didn’t look like anything was changing. So close but not quite there yet.
The past two weeks have been extremely busy. Another RPS bball game, BBQ at Joe and Myhanh’s, RPS dinner for Donna, Massive Monkees Photoshoot, made alterations for KP’s birthday dress, KP’s Bday Celebration, Easter at Mom and Dad’s, sewed tags on the RPS x Massive Monkees tees, Massive Monkees Tribute Party, and work, work, work. I’m in need of a Spring Break!
Although it feels like I don’t have enough time to breathe, I’m feeling good that I have things going on. I’ve built up a lot more motivation this year to do more creative things. Hopefully you’ll be seeing extra photos of my stuff and my work.
